Chef Manager - Woodlands (Full-Time)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced catering professional to join our team at Woodlands.

More about the role:

  • Provide day to day management, supervision and administration of the catering services
  • Adhere to current Environmental Health Regulations and Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection Standards of Quality and Safety
  • Responsible for financial control of the catering budget in accordance with SHC policy
  • Plan and provide a well-balanced daily menu on a four weekly basis, offering a choice whilst complying with policies on quality, quantity, food hygiene and portion control in a similar setting
  •  Planning separate menus for those with special dietary needs.
  • Overall responsibility for purchasing, stock monitoring and rotation of supplies within the kitchen including cleaning materials while managing a small catering team

Candidate Requirements

City and Guilds 706/1/2 in Catering Management or equivalent qualification and/or two years experience in a related field (or similar environment e.g. working in a care home setting) or willing to work towards the required qualification.

Ability to drive with access to own vehicle is desirable but not essential

Employment Details

  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Pay: £32,169.63 Annually
